Group joining forces with the local police force

Durham County Badger Group is joining forces with the local police force, the RSPCA and the UK National Wildlife Crime Unit to improve intelligence about badger-related crime within County Durham.

Badgers and their setts are protected by the Protection of Badger Act 1992. People involved in badger-related crimes are often violent, organised, travelling criminals, and the Badger Group are asking the general public to help them to combat this cruelty.
