Eco Warriors at Cockton Hill Infant School.

Mon, 17 Jul 2017

Alex and George, Year 2 pupils from Cockton Hill Infant School in Bishop Auckland, joined us today with their teacher, Mrs Harnaman. The school has just been awarded Green Flag status as recognition for all the work the children are doing to promote sustainability. They have been addressing many of the global issues facing us today, including renewable energy, recycling, reducing waste and the problem of litter. They have demonstrated that it is possible for us all to play our part as guardians of the planet.
