Bishop Auckland college Music & Arts Festival 2012

A great weekend of music and art was ended with a fantastic line up on Sunday at the Bishop Auckland college festival.

Bishop Fm’s Chris Percival attened the Sunday event and here’s what she had to say about the day.

“Sunday 1st July and the final day of Bishop Auckland College’s Music festival.

People turned out despite the changeable weather, to enjoy proms night.Many enjoyed a typical prom picnic with elaborate table settings including candles and silverware.

 

Classical music lovers enjoyed performances by the Cobweb Orchestra and renowned world classical violinist Wi-Lin.

 

 

 

 

Joe McElderry, was greeted very enthusiastically by his supporters, not only from Bishop Auckland, but Yorkshire and his home town of South Shields.

Joe McElderry went on to continue to please his  fans after his performance by greeting fans and having photos taken with them and taking the time to do autographs before leaving.

 

 

 

 

 

People leaving the event commented that it was the best yet and were looking forward to the next one.
