Picnic in the Park

Where: Jubilee Meadows, Willington
A fun picnic is being held in Jubilee Meadows, Willington on Tuesday 12th August, 12pm - 2pm. Families are asked to meet at the War Memorial to walk down to the meadow for the picnic followed by craft activities and games.
Between 10am and 11:45am families are being invited to join Surestart at Willington Children's Centre to take part in a picnic making activity before coming along to the meadow. If you would like to join in the session at Willington Children's Centre please contact Sam on 01388 746740.
The picnic is part of Groundwork West Durham and Darlington's Pride not Prejudice project which is aimed at developing pride, ownership and respect for neighbourhood environmental improvements within selected areas in Wear Valley and Derwentside.
