I live in Bishop Auckland and I am passionate about our beautiful area, and believe that Bishop FM as a community radio station can make a real difference, with your help.

I will be presenting Folk with Ferdinand every Monday evening from 9pm to 11pm. I can promise you an eclectic mix of music new and old, local and international. In fact folk Music to suit every taste.

Last week saw the passing of a great singer, John Wright, much loved by his family, friends, and followers. His song, "Closer to the truth, was played as a tribute.

Phil Graham, appeared with Janet his wife, for his weekly 3 songs and excellent renditions they were.

Next weeks guest is Bill Oxbrough, another local lad, with great talent and personality, the week after (28th) is Ian McKone, an act not to be missed.
