Streets of Durham Festival

Saturday, 29th August, 2015 - 9:00am

Durham City, various

Durham bursts into life once again this August as the very best international street performers take over the pavements, bridges and squares of the city, combining humour, death-defying acrobatics, grace and slapstick to fill the Bank Holiday weekend with fun and laughter.
See international acts galore from 11–5pm on Saturday 29 and 12.15pm-5pm on Sunday 30 August in Durham City’s Market Place and Millennium Place.

A few new faces join the party on Sunday, so this is a great opportunity to catch the acts you didn’t manage to see on Saturday as well as enjoy some spectacular new shows. By popular demand, Streets returns to Barnard Castle on Monday 31 August for a third year.

Grab your picnic and join us on Scar Top for a smorgasbord of juggling, unicycling, acrobatics, banter, wit, knives, fire and just about anything else you can think of.

And for those people who aren’t content with just watching, there will also be a circus school – great for both the little and big kids out there! For the full line-up visit
