St Andrew’s Church Open Day
The historic St Andrew’s Church, Bishop Auckland will be open to the public on the first Friday & Saturday of the summer months, the next ones being the 1st & 2nd July 2016, between 11am & 3pm.
People are invited to come and see the many treasures this beautiful building has to offer, including a world famous Saxon Cross, the effigy believed to be that of the legendary Pollard and not forgetting the magnificent stained glass windows.
Everyone who visits will be assured of a warm and friendly welcome to what is generally recognised to be the largest church in the Durham Diocese.
Come along and visit for the first time or renew memories of that special event, wedding, Baptism etc.
