The second in the monthly lunchtime concert series brings Mick Shoulder’s Swing Manouche.
Giving a slightly harder and more modern edge to the music than his previous ensemble, (Djangologie)
Swing Manouche are a hard swinging gypsy jazz outfit.

Authentic originals are still very much a main ingredient but Swing Manouche are as likely to take from more modern gypsy players as well as Django and traditional musette. Already sought out as backing band for French gypsy violin star, Daniel John Martin they are quickly making a name for themselves in gypsy jazz circles.

Mick Shoulder / Giles Strong – guitars
Paul Edis – clarinet
Paul Susans – double bass
