Apeuro will be delivering an 8-week block of parkour sessions at Willington Spectrum Leisure Complex, starting Wednesday 29th January indoors. Apeuro a professional organisation that teaches, performs and promotes parkour & freerunning throughout the Northeast of England. Parkour is the art of using effective and efficient jumps, vaults, climbing and swinging to conquer obstacles. Taking part has many physical benefits including improved speed, strength and endurance, as well as helping individuals to develop personal skills such as discipline, persistence and patience. Sessions will be taught in a safe and secure environment for beginners and will educate the young people the basic principals of parkour, teaching them how to do the sport safely. The sessions will be delivered in partnership with Durham County Council, Culture and Sport Department, Session details are shown below:-
· Wednesdays (29th January, 5th February, 12th February, 19th February, 26th February, 5th March, 12th March, 19th March 2014) 5:00 – 6:00pm each week.
Aimed at ages 11-18.
Cost = £1.50 per session.
