Pollards Allotments – Get Smart, use ‘Smart Water’
Following the recent spate of thefts from allotments, on Saturday, 9th February at 10.00am, Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator, John Rawe, will attend the General Meeting at Pollards Allotments in Bishop Auckland when he will advise allotment holders on how best to protect tools, equipment etc. from would-be thieves. The anti-theft device, ‘Smart Water’, will be available. To enable equipment to be effectively identifiable this must be allocated on an individual basis to each allotment holder, therefore it is in the interest of as many to attend as possible.
