Durham Astronomical Society will be running their own Jupiter Night for National Astronomy Week at Harehope Quarry. The Society will have their telescopes set up to view Jupiter as it is very well positioned in the early evening. If the sky is clear there will also be the opportunity to look at the moon and other deep sky objects such as nebula, open clusters, double stars and some bright galaxies. 7.00pm – 9.00pm.
