Celebrate the Hindu Festival of Lights with this special late night opening.
Visitors can enjoy a spectacular shadow puppet show, traditional puja prayers to the goddess Lakshmi, food tasting, games, dancing and much more.
The Museum will be decorated in spectacular style with diyas, flowers and lanterns made by the community, and the first 100 children will receive a free flower garland.
Two types of tickets are available to purchase through Eventbrite, as follows:
1. £2 no food ticket: These tickets allow visitors to enjoy the shadow puppet performance, puja, storytelling, crafts and exploring the museum galleries.
2. £7 food ticket: These tickets allow visitors to enjoy the shadow puppet performance, puja, storytelling, crafts AND a plate of delicious Indian food at a choice of two sitting times, 6.15pm or 7.15pm.
