This concert joyfully proves the principle that we are all, indeed, one! These stellar US- and European-based singers will share the stage in Durham for a one-night-only concert as the final performance of their 2024 European Tour.

The Great Big Sing begins at 19:30 on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Durham School Chapel.

Durham School Chapel:

Steeped in history and architectural grandeur, Durham School Chapel is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2024. Built as a memorial to the Great War, the chapel has long been a cornerstone of the school community, providing a serene space for reflection, worship, and extraordinary musical performances. The Great Big Sing is the first of the centennial concert series and is a testament to the Chapel’s enduring legacy and its role in bringing people together through the universal language of music.

British-born Musical Director Nick Bright came up with this idea: host local and international artists in an effort to give back to the global community and celebrate diversity and inclusion in the heart of Durham. Headliners include the Miami Garage Choir, Dr. Julie Silvera, and Raeford Melton.

Ticket prices range from £10 to £25 and are available online at https://gbs2024.dcsf.org.uk
