The National Garden Scheme raised over £3 million last year for nursing and health charities. They are the largest single donor to Macmillan Cancer Support, but other charities they support include Marie Curie, Hospice UK, the Carers Trust, Parkinsons UK, MS Society and many others. Come and support this wonderful cause and enjoy a day out in Weardale when Westgate opens 4 gardens to the public. The cost is only £5 to visit them all but you can help boost donations by enjoying tea at one of the gardens. Tickets and maps available at each garden. Toilets open in the village hall. 11am to 4.30 pm - to visit them all and enjoy tea, make sure you arrive by 13.30! We look forward to seeing you there.
Also BY ARRANGEMENT during June and July - groups of 4-10 at Breckon Hill, Westgate DL13 1PD - ring Jennie 01388 517735. For more information visit https://www.ngs.org.uk/find-a-garden/garden/34328/
