VOLUNTEER MANAGER JOB ADVERT (temporary 12-month appointment)

105.9 Bishop FM is a community radio station based in Bishop Auckland, providing local radio and online content to people who live and work in towns and villages across South Durham.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our station, and our most precious resource, and we are looking to appoint a Volunteer Manager to help us recruit, support and train new and existing volunteers.

We’re specifically looking for someone that is passionate about working with people. The right person will have the energy and enthusiasm to encourage and build confidence in volunteers of all ages and abilities.

The role will be based in our studio in Bishop Auckland, but as long as the work gets done we’re happy for you to manage your own diary and work remotely if you’d prefer.

The role is funded for 15 hours per week for 12 months and we are willing to pay £16-20 per hour for someone with the right skills and experience.
