On this Community Slice I talk to Laurie Robinson, Director of Cavalry and Estates, Wendy Wilshere, Head of Volunteer Casting and Engagement and Erin who is part of the cavalry team and drives the carrages in the performances, all at Kynren.
Laurie and Wendy are also part of the show team and Laurie describes the parts she plays within the show, including riding on of the horses in the jousting match. This is a great insight into how all 39 horses perform in the show and how they are trained to perform in front of a large crowd and we meet some of them!
Erin describes her work with the driving horses and how she gets on with ‘Cosmo’ the relatively new horse to the show.
Wendy also talks about future plans for daytime events at Kynren from next year, ‘The Storied Lands’ and about the 10th Season of the night show.
There is information about show dates and how to get tickets, go to www.kynren.com
I hope you enjoy the 10th Community Slice in the series and the great insight into this fantastic community event that is – Kynren, An Epic Tail of England!
