A local employer says it is pleased to present sponsorship for this years Ferryhill Gala.
The gala, alongside other events in Ferryhill, is organised by the Ferryhill 2000 Committee with the Town Council. The committee is currently raising funds for the event and is hoping to replace gazebos with market stalls.
Mike Harman, Works Manager at Steetly Dolomite, informed the committee that the company would be happy to purchase two new stalls as part of the sponsorship.
Mr Harman went on to explain that Steetley Dolomite is a long standing major employer in the area and recognises the need for local businesses to contribute to the nearby community.
