Bishop FM’s Gary Burgham talks to Chris Francis, Site Manager of RSPB Saltholme Nature Reserve near the Tees Estuary. You may have heard about a disease which is on the rise (Trichomonosis) and generally affects finches. Gary asks Chris if it is still safe to feed our garden birds without unwittingly spreading the disease to the wider population of our feathered friends.
