Books can now be borrowed using a ‘pick and collect’ service introduced by Durham County Council.
The service was initially offered at nine libraries and has been extended to include Bishop Auckland Town Hall, Shildon, Spennymoor, Wolsingham and other locations in the county.
Up to three books can be ordered online or over the phone. The library service will contact users to arrange a collection day.
