Consultation on selective licensing scheme proposed.

A scheme which regulates privately rented properties in County Durham could be reviewed. 
Durham County Council’s Cabinet will be asked to agree to a consultation to review it’s selective licensing scheme beyond 31 March 2027.

Bishop Auckland Town Council has launched a new mobile can‑crushing station that will be used at community events and activities across the town, with all proceeds from recycled cans being donated to Woodhouse Close Church and Community Centre Foodbank.
